Soyeon is a motion designer and animator who believes in the storytelling power of visual media such as animation and motion graphics.

Her goal is to create meaningful work that emotionally connects with audiences — inspiring reflection and empathy through the narrative strength of visual art.

She is deeply interested in themes of human rights, social issues, and history, and strives to use motion design and animation as tools to visually engage and encourage audiences to reconsider these subjects.

Currently pursuing her MFA at the University of Connecticut, she continues to explore how visual storytelling can move hearts and minds while prompting greater awareness of the world around us.
