This project was inspired by the remains of Chernobyl—its construction sites, schools, apartments, and playgrounds.
Through four seasonal scenes, it shows the quiet passage of time like a timelapse.
The Soviet gas mask suggests the hidden story of Chernobyl, while the lighting creates a post-apocalyptic mood filled with stillness and memory.
The mask was fully modeled and textured by myself using Maya and Substance Painter, while the background assets, cars, and props were assembled from free Cinema 4D resources to build the overall scene composition.
